Right in the heart of Somiedo Nature Park, tucked into a glacial valley — pull up, set up, and make yourself at home. Please note that the mountain access roads limit entry to vehicles up to 7 metres (approx. 23 feet) long.

Check-in & Stay

  • A valid ID (national ID card or passport) must be presented at reception upon check-in, along with completion of the mandatory guest registration form
  • Day visitors must also register at reception

Vehicles & On-Site Circulation

  • Maximum vehicle length: 7 metres (approx. 23 feet)
  • Maximum speed on site: 10 km/h (approx. 6 mph)
  • Vehicle movement restricted between 00:00 and 08:00
  • No vehicle maintenance on site — no oil changes, washing or repairs
  • A pitch is considered occupied from the moment of set-up and vacated from the moment of departure
  • The campsite cannot guarantee additional parking availability during peak periods

Access & Road Conditions

  • The roads leading to Camping Lagos de Somiedo are narrow high-mountain routes with steep gradients and tight bends. Maximum vehicle length: 7 metres (approx. 23 feet)

General Rules

  • Rubbish must be deposited in the bins located at the campsite entrance
  • BBQs are permitted subject to weather conditions — open fires are prohibited on site at all times
  • Do not tamper with any electrical panels on site — these are for campsite staff use only
  • The guest is solely responsible for their vehicle's electrical installation and connections
  • The campsite accepts no liability for theft, robbery, fire damage, adverse weather conditions or actions by third parties

Pets

  • Maximum one pet per booking — No exotic animals — Valid vaccination record required
  • Pets must be registered at reception on arrival
  • Potentially Dangerous Dogs (PPD): a valid ownership permit, active liability insurance and up-to-date vaccination record must be presented at reception. The animal must wear a muzzle in all shared areas
  • Pets must be kept on a lead at all times within the campsite; overnight, they must remain inside the vehicle
  • Pets may not be left unattended on site at any time
  • Dog waste must be collected and disposed of exclusively in the campsite bins
  • Camping Lagos de Somiedo sits within a Nature Park and active farming area — guests are expected to show full respect for the surroundings, local wildlife and livestock
  • The campsite reserves the right to ask a guest to leave if their animal causes disruption to other guests or to the natural environment
  • The guest is responsible for any damage caused by their pet

Getting to Camping Lagos de Somiedo

From Oviedo and the North

Take the motorway towards Grado–La Espina and follow the A-227 to Pola de Somiedo. Alternative route: exit at Trubia and head towards Teverga, crossing over the Puerto de San Lorenzo mountain pass into Somiedo.

From Central Spain

Take the AP-66 and exit at Villablino. From there, continue to Piedrafita de Babia and follow signs for Puerto de Somiedo, descending into Pola de Somiedo.

Final Stretch — All Routes

From the centre of Pola de Somiedo, follow the local road for about 8 kilometres (approx. 5 miles) to the village of Valle de Lago.
